AtenWonder (“we”, “us”) is a social-research app for documenting and discussing field observations. This policy explains what we collect and why. Questions: team@atenwonder.com.
Who we are
AtenWonder is operated for the AtenWonder mobile app and website at atenwonder.com. Contact us at team@atenwonder.com.
Account information
When you create an account we store your username, email address, and a hashed password on our servers. We do not sell your personal data.
Content you create
We store posts, comments, direct messages, map pins, bookmarks, and uploaded photos or video that you choose to share in the app. Content you make public can be seen by other users.
Location
Location is optional. You may attach a location to a pin or post, and the map or sky tools may use your device position as an observer reference while you use those features. We do not continuously track you in the background for advertising.
Device and notifications
If you allow notifications, we store a Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) token so we can send push alerts (for example likes, comments, or messages). We may also see approximate network information as part of normal API requests.
Purchases (Premium)
Google Play processes Premium subscription payments. Play shares purchase tokens and subscription status with AtenWonder so we can unlock Premium features on your account. AtenWonder does not see your full card number or full payment credentials.

Retention and deletion
We keep account and content data while your account is active. To request account deletion, follow the steps at https://atenwonder.com/delete-account or email team@atenwonder.com from the address on the account. We process deletion requests manually for this release.
Children
AtenWonder is intended for users age 13 and older. If you believe a child under 13 has created an account, contact team@atenwonder.com.
Changes
We may update this policy. The “Last updated” date above will change when we do. Continued use of the app after an update means you accept the revised policy.
